What are the implications of AI for Alaska?
Hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage!
Friday is open to the public and includes panels with civic and K-12 leaders, a student and faculty innovation showcase, vendor presentations and a hands-on AI workshop, and an evening keynote from futurist Bryan Alexander.
The conference will continue on Saturday and Sunday for educators and members of the UA community with the discussion of AI’s significance for teaching, learning, and security.
The event is free of charge, and hybrid options are available for most sessions.

Jim will be one of the guest panelists discussing AI expectations of employers, skills the UA system needs to help students develop so they can succeed in the workplace, and the work the UA system should be doing to upskill the wider community!
