The Project: Comprehensive ITSM Assessment and Remediation (Roadmap) for a multi-billion-dollar international Laboratory Services Company

Our Plan of Action:

Jim Bates played a key role in this project through Dallas based Plexent, LLC as a Sr. Consultant. He traveled to LabCorp Headquarters in North Carolina in May 2009 and conducted an ITSM assessment, including interviews, documentation audits, and workshops.

He produced comprehensive documentation that included the assessment results, current maturity levels, gap analysis, strategic goals, gaps to goals mapping, phased remediation plan with milestones and recommendations, and complete ROI analysis.

The project contributed to LabCorp’s IT service stabilization and transformation into a cost effective, proactive and innovative department that is strategically aligned to business goals through Centers of Excellence.
